This layout features Halloween 2015. We spent Halloween with my sister and her triplets. Norah was a little timid with her first time Trick-or-Treating, but we had a great time! For this layout, I used Doodlebug's Ghouls and Goodies Collection. I wanted to make sure to use all the cute Halloween figures from the cardstock sticker sheet, so I decided to create multiple scenes to match my background paper.
Here are a few close-ups of the different scenes I created.
I was afraid that when I looked back in my scrapbook 20 years from now that I wouldn't remember who the kids were dressed up as. To fix that problem, I decided to make banners to list who they each dressed up as. Isn't she the cutest Tinkerbell you have ever seen??

I Melt Daddy's Heart
My daughter, Norah, had a really cute shirt with a snowman on it that stated "I Melt Daddy's Heart." I knew as soon as I saw the shirt that I would have to do a scrapbook layout with her and Daddy. Of course Doodlebug had the perfect paper collection to match her shirt. I used Frosty Friends paper collection for this page.
Overall I think it turned out pretty cute!
I decided that I wanted to do multiple scenes with the snowmen, so I opted for this collage template with my photo in the middle. I used an assortment of the stickers from the cardstock sticker sheet, as well as some snowflake Doodlepops. I used a variety of the Teensy Type letters for my title and to document my date. I then wanted to add a little dimension to my page so I used some pop dots to layer my snow in the 2 larger scenes.
Overall I think it turned out pretty cute!

Some-bunny Sure is Cute
I've been holding on to this Easter photo of my daughter for almost an entire year. I was waiting for the perfect inspiration to hit because I LOVE the photo and wanted to make sure that I scrapped it perfectly! Finally it came to me.....and it turned out to be one of my more favorite pages I've ever done!
Because no page seems complete without a little bit of stitching, I added some faux stitching around each of the boxes.
For this layout, I used pieces from several of the Doodlebug Easter collections. I wanted to use the bunny stickers to match my daughter's bunny ears in the photo. For my title, I used 2 of the bunnies from the Flower Box Easter collection. The smaller bunnies are from the Easter Parade collection. I decided I wanted the bunnies to be "peeking" in on each of the boxes. I think it turned out really cute!

My Little Love Bug
As the majority of my scrapbooking revolves around my daughter, my next layout also features a picture of her wearing a cute pair of ladybug jammies. It perfectly matches the "Lovebugs" collection from Doodlebug so it was easy to select my papers!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
I wanted to showcase a variety of the papers from the collection so I decided to go with a layout that would allow me to feature them all. I cut circles and scallop circles and arranged them in a random pattern on white cardstock. I then decided to add hand stitching to each of the circles in coordinating threads. I then added more hand stitching around the border of the white cardstock to add a little more detail. Yes, I realize that I am crazy for doing all the hand stitching!!
For my title, I used one of the pre-designed papers that I modified slightly to be the shape that I wanted. I also added some additional lettering to make the perfect title for my page. Thanks for visiting my blog!
Beautiful Smile
For my first post, I wanted to share a layout I created to feature some of my daughter's 6 month photos. She has the most beautiful smile and I wanted to showcase that in this layout.
I am really happy with the way this page turned out. I hope you like it too!
I started by selecting papers that matched the outfit she is wearing in the photos. Once I had my papers aligned and adhered to the page, it felt like something was missing. I decided to add hand stitching to each of the sections in coordinating thread. Boy was that a lengthy process! But I love the way it turned out.
