Our First Home

We purchased our first home in 2012, but I am just now getting around to scrapping the photos we took when we first viewed the house.  Doodlebug's "Welcome Home" collection was perfect for this layout.
The white spot next to the large photo on the left is the address to our house.  I covered it with a piece of paper for privacy.
I knew I wanted to use the house stickers from the icon sticker sheet and the smaller house stickers from the fancy frills sticker sheet.  I was happy when I figured out how to add both sizes of stickers while still fitting in all the necessary pictures.

My daughter Norah had a blast playing with her water table the first time we set it up for her last summer.  She was wearing an adorable outfit with the cutest little crab on it.  I decided to showcase the crab in this layout.  Just look at the pure delight on her face!
I created the crabs using the "Create a Critter" Cricut cartridge.  I hand cut the goggles and snorkels because I couldn't find one that looked close enough to the crab on Norah's outfit.  I added vellum behind the goggles to make it look more realistic.  The anchors were cut from the "Life's a Beach" cartridge.

I added some "bubbles" using a white gel pen to connect my circle around the photos.
